At 31 he should be in his prime enjoying his footy but on the pitch he looks a shadow of last season. After the Arsenal game I no longer think he is crucial and if he leaves so be it. Fergie bought him like Ruud, after a long period of recovery, benefiting from a refreshed player, and hoping to make a difference. A deliberate buy to win the league. It worked but too well and he has become the talisman of many, including me. I think he is way off form, motivation and mindset. If Dubai brings him round fine, if he wants out fine, but his presence, along with the other squad travellers wandering the pitch like lost souls is no longer acceptable.

Honestly anyone who wants to leave, they can shove off. You look at Liverpool and when they were doing the same thing we are doing right now. they were able to keep the core guys and sign some good players to boost them up. If you aren't willing to fight to bring the team back up then you don't deserve the praise or credit when it happens.

Latest rumour is that Wenger met with RVP's agent last month. Don't know if that's accurate at all, but to be honest it really wouldn't surprise me. RVP came here expecting to spend a few seasons under Fergie. If you don't believe that was a massive part of him leaving le Arse, you're deluded (just look at his body language last season and compare it to now). One season under Fergie and now RVP finds himself in the footballing stone ages with a manager who, aptly, has all the personality of a rock. I actually wouldn't be shocked if he wants out. We all know Arsenal still wouldn't win the title. And then Mata could have his 10 spot. Would actually be kind of funny. Arsenal wouldn't win and their fans would drive themselves insane.

It'd be so strange if he went back to Arsenal, none of us can and would really blame him as he's at his peak and, quite frankly, I reckon Wenger could get more out of him than DD. He wanted to win a trophy (he has) and one of the big reasons he came was to play under Fergie. He's not a target striker, hence the 81 CPG (crosses per game - a stat we'll need to start utilizing)won't benefit him at all.
The longer the season goes on the more I think he's off.
David Moyes, the crusher of dreams and the pillager of Art.

I don't think he wants to go. I think he might be doing a bit of a PHC (but not in a contract/wages way) and using it to declare his displeasure at formations and tactics. I hope it gives DD a kick up the arse in terms of playing better and more fluid formations to give RVP the type of service that he deserves which will see him (and us) happy. Just a thought and perhaps wishful thinking but I don't see him being as petulant as PHC.

We should have made a lesson out of PHC and sent a message that no matter who, won't bow down to egos and player power bollocks.

If he wants out, fuck him. Nobody is irreplaceable. Certainly not at this club. Cavani will prove a more than capable replacement, and an ideal partner for Wazza in August

Yeah, fuck RVP, Kags, Chicha or anybody else not named PHC. We don't bend over for players who wanted out sure. It's certainly never happened before at this club. PHC is set to be rewarded for his "loyalty", sure The only ideal partner for PHC is a new club.

TBH I don't think RVP has much choice. Despite past press coverage of his desire to work with PHC it just doesn't seem to be happening. I can't remember the stats totally but is it four passes between them and three of those were from the kick off! Without WUM'ing here I think for as long as DD kowtows to PHC then RVP is stuffed. I don't think he wants out but the way things are football wise in terms of service, fluid passing, link up play and even simple communication on the field, he seems to have no choice. He doesn't strike me as petulant in the same way as PHC and in this instance I have more sympathy for RVP if he is trying to make a point and would not be happy at the prospect of him going in return for keeping PHC on what looks like a ridiculous contract. I believe that at least his motives are football focused and not about wages etc.

I stand by what I what I said. If ANYONE wants to leave they can F#$K off sharpish, just won't sell them to competition like other have to us. We aren't stupid like that.
RVP has scored in every game except the last one against Arsenal and Mata even though won't play Chelski this year can still hurt there chances by helping us win.

All this talk of RVP wanting back to Le Arse is bollocks. Laziest form of journalism I have ever seen.

You can easily argue that RVP needs to grow a pair, man up and get on with what he is paid to do, however that may be very difficult being as our tactics are very poor in the first place, so perhaps thats what they are alluding to when they mention technique etc... If this is all true, then its pretty dam poor a player of RVP's quality is ruined by DD antics... Worryingly bad press for us again, considering our impending spending spree and attracting top players....

If RVP does fuck off in the summer, there could be a few hard truths come out about Moyes and his training/tactics approach
The little boy inside of him could let loose
