A lot of rumours and speculations circulating tonight in different newspapers and radio shows that Van Persie wants to go back to Arsenal. Rumours say he hasn't settled into Moyes management style. Anyone heard or know different?

If it's true, it's true. Whatever.
Normally I'd react with indignation if a player wanted out. A big first teamer anyway. I'd be pissed, or upset, or have some emotion over it.
Super Dave has sucked it all out of me. I have no feeling anymore. There's fresh shit at the club on a daily basis.
After you beat an animal enough it eventually just gives up and stops reacting. Moyes has me like that.

I doubt it's true - since when has RVP been one to openly say that he wants to leave? he didn't win alot in 8 (?) years with Arsenal and we didn't hear this

No substance to it in my opinion. We're just an easy target to the media at the moment and it's pure speculation. He could be getting fed up or he might be thinking if he can inspire us to keep form he can go down as a united legend. But even in the slight off chance he did want to go back (even after Arsenal fans sung she said no at him) they wouldnt have him back because of his celebration and because of what he did to them in the first place.

I don't think he'll go back to Arsenal, at least for next season, but he might want to go to Real/Barca/Bayern kind of club since he will be 31 come end of this season and that does not leave him many spare seasons to waste without challenging for major European honors. I wouldn't be surprised if he shares the opinion on DD with so many members of this board in that he's incapable of challenging for CL and even running a club of this magnitude.

Isn't this an old rumour? I remember this from the start of the season. It was accompanied with these images apparently showing a training ground dispute between the two: Dutch media was criticizing Moyes for his training methods that caused Van Persie to miss some games with the national team, and most of the season with us. Apparently he takes no consideration to the fact that Van Persie has been prone to injuries throughout his career. What do you know, he gets injured right away. There is also the quote from Alex Ferguson when he said he had to apologize to Van Persie when he announced his retirement. I don't think Van Persie is happy. I don't blame him. I'm not happy either. I hope he decides to stay though. Last thing we need is one of our best players wanting out. If Van Persie leaves because of Moyes then how can anyone argue that Moyes is the right man to take the club forward?

After all, he got injured a lot there. More likely, it's a case if a guy who has gotten injured his entire career...getting injured again. Do you agree?
