I get the sentiment that we’ve wasted all summer holding on to the hope FDJ would sign because of ETH, but what we were seeing out today is not on him. We are 5-6 players short from being a decent side. The fuckers running the club would’ve needed to spend 200-300mil this summer, it was never gonna happen. It’s not even a case of gradual squad evolution because we literally fixed zero of the many problems in the squad this summer. I don't have a problem waiting for FDJ if there is a real chance of closing it! The problem I have is they should have bought Neves as well this year if you are a serious football club with our revenues, how can you ignore that shit midfield for three years. FDJ could improve it if he comes, but he's just one player! They have done fuck all about the attack also. We need another attacking wide player and a top level striker the better side of 30 |

It's a fucking disgrace, if they don't have the money then just sell the club and fuck off back to miami and buy another condo. The club is simply going nowhere. It's not even spinning its wheels, it's slowly slipping away like Quint into Jaws mouth. I don't expect miracles from Ten Hag because it's completely unreasonable to expect him to make top 4 with this shower. There is no diablo tactic, you need the fucking players |

I know they are both pants but Fred playing DM is crazy, we saw his best position when ralf came in and it's not DM.
Surely he should be further up the pitch (ideally on the bench or better yet at a different club) and MCT playing deeper.
Sorry but ETH playing those 2 makes me sick, really gonna lose my head on this one. This is the premier league. He should not make the arrogant mistake Pep made during his first season where he thought he'd just come in with his lovely ideas and play sexy football.
FDJ is not a DM in the premier league, he'd work in a pivot with a DM and he will fail if he has MCT or Fred next to him

Agree fees for neves and tielemans and tell ETH ‘if you are happy playing McFred, you should have no problems playing these lads’.
Immediate upgrade and yes it means we can ship McFred out to any sucker that wants them
