1 game in and ETH has zero plan, he will be sacked before the season ends, and tbh playing Maguire and mcfred will be his downfall, we was talking to him well before the season ended and if he couldn't see how bad some of these players are, and he keeps playing them well that's on him

I know we were junk today, and ten Hag has to take some blame because the starting lineup and tactics were wrong and he made the last subs way too late. Also has to take some blame over the FDJ fiasco, as we should have moved on already.
But we have to have a bit of patience. If he keeps making mistakes and doesn't learn then we can lose patience. He should have known already, but Dalot, McT, Fred and Maguire all shite and need to go. I wouldn't lose sleep over Rashford, Bruno or Shaw either.

Question , what's Ten Hags favourite formation and what formation did he start with yesterday?
Am I wrong in thinking that we played more or less the same team from last season and the same 4-2-3-1 formation that has been failing for past 5+ years?

He hasn't signed anybody new, what is he going to change or implement? He also went for an utterly cringe false 9 with Bruno I think. |

If you get a moment, look at the build up to Mc Tomminay’s yellow card (which should have been red). There are 4 attacking players in the correct positions waiting for a pass. Only one of the options would be what you’d describe as a tricky ball, the others are just ones you’d expect any professional player to make with his eyes closed. Instead he takes a heavy touch and then creases the Brighton player.
Sums up why we have no chance.

We started with a *VOMIT* Fernandes as a false nine thing. Because he is literally the only one who can control and accurately pass a football, we then switched to the modern 4-3-3 with Eriksen as the 6 in front of Martinez and Cunt. 'Give it t'Eriksen.' is a wise but limited tactic. It's like watching Mata be two moves ahead of everyone for the last eight years. Also, I'll post other comments on the game later, but while Sancho was really poor he also made so many good runs/movements where the pass never came from midfield. Might not have come across through TV being off camera but it got to the point you could see him physically sag with the realisation the pass would never arrive. That's why he was on his heels for the one late in the second half. He had no faith the ball would be played. |

ETH takes the full blame for me. VDB plays in every pre-season, granted he didnt have a good pre-season but McT didnt either and I can say had it worse. Still VDB is a better technical player. I really thought he would be the starter next to Fred. We could have used his give and go style. All McT did was try to bring the ball out with his useless dribbling skills. It was all laboured and slow, better to watch paint dry. We never once passed it out from the back... fucking tossers the lot of them.

Will he be sacked? Doubt it until it just becomes too toxic to continue.

Doubt it until it just becomes too toxic to continue. This club is finished and we badly need a reset. Unless we recruit at least 6-8 quality players by this time next year he will get sacked around Christmas 2023. If he is going to put up with the club not recruiting and sticks with Maguire,Dalot,Mcfred, martial and rashford(+others) then he could be gone this season. |

I’m not calling for ETH out yet, but why would he start Shaw Maguire and McFred.
Malacia was superb in pre season.
Varane with one leg is better than Maguire.
Has he not seen how bad McFred is in all this time?
If he doesn’t learn soon we are screwed

I've just watched the first goal and the more I watch it the more I think what a massive fucking pussy we have in goal. Why the fuck is he not diving out to collect the ball?
I don't give a fuck how good of a shot-stopper he is, he's a fucking liability and miles behind on every other attribute compared to the top-level keepers.
