Lille are the biggest bunch of pussies going, their players and their fans. Fuckin walking off the pitch, do me a favour Very well put Scott...I was not happy with our performance and though I only heard the game on the radio, I am happy that we got this game behind us. I wish that we got the result in a more definite way, but i'll take it...Now i wait for the home game where we will thrash them red and ram it up their asses! Fuckers wanted to get off the field! And as Scott said..do us a Favor!

Back to the match, we didnt play too well and were lucky on occasions. They are a compact team but at the end of the day we got an away goal and clean sheet so its job well done. Hope we run over them at OT.

I read that Lille actually, physcially, walked off the pitch during regular time. Is this true? If so, should lille be kicked out of the CL? <--that would make sense to me. It was actually their coaches who told them to get off the pitch. Some people will be in for a bollocking!

Fergie demands UEFA actionA FURIOUS Sir Alex Ferguson called for UEFA action after a member of the Lille coaching staff attempted to persuade his players to leave the pitch following Ryan Giggs' late winner at the Stade Felix-Bollaert. The Wales international stroked home a free-kick while Lille goalkeeper Tony Sylva was still lining up his wall. And amid the protests from the home side a member of the Lille bench could clearly be seen beckoning his players from the pitch. Ferguson said: "I've never seen that. It was complete intimidation of the referee. "UEFA have got to do something. The Lille coaching staff intimidated the referee and it created a hostile atmosphere. "UEFA will come down strongly - I was worried because there were missiles being thrown and Gary Neville was hit."
And for those of you who don't think Lille should get chucked out, their failure off and on the pitch are unacceptable, some of our fans could have gotten seriously hurt, or worse. I don't care if we are going to get bother from the media on going through on a bye, if UEFA do not handle this is will further prove how spineless they are, and it will tell other fans that it is ok to throw missiles at players, show coaching staff it's ok to tell your players to walk off the pitch if the result isn't going your way, tell the police that it's fine to throw tear gas at elderly people and children. The UEFA should take action, a bloody tap on the writst aint action.

Well, with Platini as the main man in FIFA/UEFA have a rough guess how harsh the punishment will be.....they'll through Man U out for inciting the trouble in the first place! Not a great performance by any means, but the result is what counts at this stage. Let's get them back to our place and show them the respect and hospitality they deserve - not a lot. I wonder if Fergie shared a bottle of fine French claret with the Lille couch after the game?!

It's funny, coz if Lille get kicked out, we miss out on revenue, and God forbid we lose revenue.
Anyway, crap game for the most part. Ronaldo and Rooney both should've scored witrh clear cut opportunities.

We will kick them out for UEFA in the next leg. If they are going to ban them, do it for next season. I doubt any investigation will be finished before the next leg. Beside's what about the people who have bought tickets for that game. Im confident enough that we will beat Lille 3-0 to send them crashing out ourselves.

I was at the game, in the United end. Fortunately I was about half way up the stand so I didn't get involved in the stuff at the front of the stand, but I did have my first experience of tear gas. Horrible stuff. I mean what the fuck were the police doing? That stadium is a fuckin hole. Still, it was a good result for us.

Well its true we should win quite easily when they come to face us in Old trafford. However I think that UEFA should punish Lille in some sort of manner for what they did. And beside the money factor ( where they could repay the ticket holders) , I think the team could do without a game especially with the FA cup replay we have .. what goes around comes around ..

I know people don't want us to go through on a bye or what have you, but if UEFA aren't strict on things like this, especially Lille's failure to ensure the fans safety as well as the player's poor attitude, that shows nothing was learned from heysel or hillsborough.
